Beyond the classroom

La Scala does not live on piano and group music classes alone in its small home base. Those classes matter, but they are not enough to reach the children who need them most.

Over years of scholarships sustained mostly by love, La Scala learned this: the greatest value is walking with children and young people who want to grow — families who do a lot with little, who never miss a class, who guard the chance they were given. That formation does not stop in the room. It reaches the neighbour, the community, and it is one of the most beautiful ways to build a country — a more peaceful, prosperous future in a land full of talent and beauty, and short on opportunity.
